Anti-Wrinkle Treatments Camberwell
Anti-wrinkle injections are used to help eliminate those pesky facial lines and wrinkles that are more than just a ‘crease’ in the skin.
Our anti-wrinkle injections work just below the surface of the skin, which are specifically targeted at the muscles that cause those creases and lines within your face. The muscles are temporarily prevented from being able to move, and therefore cannot contract and create those very creases.
We make sure that our treatments are incredibly safe. These practices have been used by many qualified medical practitioners for many years. The process is extremely safe, and is an effective method to reduce and even eliminate wrinkles without any surgical intervention.
What you need to know.
Your wrinkle injection treatment depends on a series of factors such as your skin type, your age and the severity of your wrinkles. It also depends on whether you are having the procedure done as a preventative measure or as an anti-wrinkle treatment. We only offer the highest quality brands of wrinkle injections and our practitioners have the extensive knowledge of products and facial muscles required to recommend treatment that will deliver the best results for you, personally.
One of the main benefits of anti-wrinkle treatment is its ability to smooth out wrinkles and restore a more youthful appearance. The treatment works by injecting a purified form of the botulinum toxin into targeted muscles, which temporarily relaxes them and reduces the appearance of wrinkles. This can be particularly effective in areas such as the forehead, crow’s feet, and frown lines.
Camberwell Health takes a personalized approach to anti-wrinkle treatment, ensuring that each patient receives the most suitable and effective treatment plan. The experienced and skilled team at Camberwell Health will assess the patient’s skin condition, discuss their desired outcomes, and develop a customized treatment plan to achieve the best possible results.
In addition to reducing the appearance of wrinkles, anti-wrinkle treatment at Camberwell Health can also provide other benefits. For example, it can help prevent new wrinkles from forming by inhibiting the muscle movements that contribute to their development. This can be particularly beneficial for individuals who have dynamic wrinkles caused by repetitive facial expressions.
Furthermore, anti-wrinkle treatment is a non-surgical and minimally invasive procedure, which means that it requires little to no downtime. Patients can resume their daily activities immediately after the treatment, making it a convenient option for those with busy schedules.

Forehead lift

They can also be used accentuate the arches in your brow, or to correct asymmetry.

Frown lines
Treating frown lines is one of the most common treatments that we offer at Cityskin. Frown lines are treated with anti-wrinkle injections. Results take about 5 days to take effect and last approximately 3 months (provided the correct amount of units are used).
What causes frown lines?
Frown lines are caused by the repeated movement of the glabella – the muscles in the frown. As a general rule the stronger the muscle the deeper the line and the more units that you need to stop the muscle contracting. Sometimes it takes more than one treatment to fully reduce the appearance of the frown line.

Crows feet
Technically referred to as lateral canthal lines, crow’s feet develop gradually over time. There isn’t anyone who is immune to these creases, however they can be more prominent on some people over others. If you’re someone who has deep, noticeable crow’s feet – you might find yourself wondering, “can I get rid of crow’s feet?!”
While there isn’t a one-solution-fits-all answer, there are certainly steps and treatments that can help. But before we dive into it, let’s find out what causes these not-so-fine lines.
Anti-wrinkle injectables are the most common way to get rid of crow’s feet. While they don’t remove them completely – they’re the closest thing to a wrinkle-eraser!
By injecting tiny amounts of muscle relaxant to the area, anti-wrinkle injections help to relax the muscle that causes crow’s feet to form. After treatment, it can take up to two weeks for the full effect to set in but the results can last for up to 4 months on average.

Bunny lines
Bunny lines are the fine lines that appear when you scrunch up your nose. This happens when you smile or laugh. These fine lines have a variety of causes, but most commonly occur due to overusing certain facial muscles as we age.
Day to day, each individual expresses themselves unintentionally that causes the movements of the facial muscles. Same as smoker’s line and forehead wrinkles, bunny lines are expression lines seen in the nose when you crinkle it. These are lines that fan from the side of the nose, beneath the bridge, to the eye area. You can see muscles at work when you flare your nostrils or during certain facial movements like smiling deeply and laughing.
Anti Wrinkle Injections is injected into either side of the nose directly targeting the lines and wrinkles. You will see immediate results and will continue to improve as days pass by. Typically, effect will last up to four months. The goal is to weaken or paralyze the muscle which clumps the skin and creates the bunny lines and wrinkles.

Lip flip
A clinically tested anti-wrinkle injection is now commonly used to make lips more full. When injected strategically into a complex of muscles encircling the mouth (the orbicularis oris), this injectable dramatically changes the appearance of your lips to “flip” the upper lip up, giving the appearance of more volume without filler. The treatment takes just a few minutes, but it’s quite complicated due to the demands of placing each injection just-so.
Only the superficial layers of muscle on each side of the lower and upper lip should be treated. When used properly, anti-wrinkle injections relax the muscle fibres just enough to “flip” the upper lip outward. This makes the lip appear larger and fuller, without affecting its ability to function.

Gummy smile
If your gummy grin is because of a short upper lip or overactive muscles, there are some relatively simple medi-aesthetic solutions to minimise the appearance of your gums when you smile, without having to worry about surgery. After all, your smile should light up the room, not make you feel self-conscious! Keep reading to learn more about gummy smile and the options available for treatment.
Anti-wrinkle injections help those whose gummy smile is the result of overactive muscles around the upper lip. By pinpointing the overactive muscles or muscles close to the nose, anti-wrinkle injections relax said muscles and ultimately reduce the amount of gum shown when smiling, as the newly relaxed muscles are not pulling at the upper lip as much. Anti-wrinkle injections can last for up to 12 months, are non-invasive and only take around 30 minutes to administer with no recovery time needed.

Jaw slimming
A robust or square jawline is typically created by overdevelopment of the masseter muscles which are often referred to as your ‘chewing muscles’. Jaw slimming injections are highly beneficial because they relax the muscles. As the muscles relax, your face takes on a softer appearance. The relaxed jawline creates a friendlier countenance.
Anti-wrinkle injections are widely used to eliminate and prevent fine lines and wrinkles in the skin’s surface but they are also highly effective at softening the jawline. Jaw slimming treatments using anti-wrinkle injections are easily undergone in a physician’s office. The entire procedure usually takes less than an hour. The masseter muscles are injected with a muscle relaxant that is typically used as an anti-wrinkle treatment. A thin needle is used so there is only minimal discomfort at the injection site. The relaxant blocks all nerve signals to the muscles. The jaw will then start to relax which will create a softer jawline.

Chin dimpling
As we age and lose bone and soft tissue on the face, the chin can become less smooth, with dimpling and a bobbly appearance. This can be more obvious when a patient is talking, with the dimpling standing out with certain movements in the area.
Chin dimples occur due to contraction of mentalis muscle, shown in the image below. Repeated contraction of mentalis can lead to a chin crease which can be a masculinising feature.
The first line treatment for chin dimpling is antiwrinkle injections, the area may be improved even further by injecting dermal filler.
Small injections using a very fine needle are performed to the chin area into the muscles which cause the dimpling.
